Founding & Senior Partner
Charles is the founding and senior partner of the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Zimbabwe. He has been in private practice for a period spanning 7 (seven) offering legal services civil litigation matters, commercial transactions, real estate as well as advising financial institutions in mortgage and projects financing. Charles also sits in several boards within Zimbabwe.

Senior Associate

Jiang Jincong is a seasoned Chinese Administrator at Charles Law Chambers with extensive experience supporting Chinese clients and investors in both Zimbabwe and China. He plays a vital role in managing client relations, cross-border communication, and documentation, while also assisting lawyers with contracts, investment transactions, and compliance matters. With a rich network of business connections and deep expertise in Zimbabwe–China relations, Jiang strengthens the firm’s service offering, bridging cultural and language gaps and adding significant value to the Charles Law Chambers client network.

Deputy Chinese Administrator
Zhang Zike serves as our Deputy Chinese Administrator at Charles Law Chambers, where she focuses on strengthening relationships with Chinese clients and investors. She provides practical support in coordinating communications, preparing documentation, and assisting with cross-border business matters. Kathy’s ability to navigate both Zimbabwean and Chinese business environments allows her to contribute to smooth transactions, effective collaboration, and the firm’s commitment to delivering client-centered solutions.
Huang Chuan

Huang Chuan is part of the Charles Law Chambers team, offering unique expertise shaped by his international legal training. He holds a Law Degree from China and is currently completing a Doctorate in Law (PhD), giving him advanced insight into comparative and international law.
